The many varieties of clean energy will be key in helping us emerge from the triple global crises of climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, and a crisis a crisis of energy security where we have seen energy used as a weapon. This revamping is part of an effort to capture the CEM and MI ministerials as the premiere clean energy event of the year, turning ambition to action, accelerating concrete progress, and advancing a path net-zero future. What is the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)?

After I register to attend Global Clean Energy Action Forum, who will arrange my travel?
Those who intend to attend Global Clean Energy Action Forum in-person must be prepared to arrange their own travel to the United States and Pittsburgh, PA.
What airport should I fly into?
Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the nearest international airport to Pittsburgh. There are also many additional international airports throughout the northeast and mid-atlantic regions of the USA located within several hours drive from Pittsburgh.
I will already be in the USA. What ground transportation options exist to me?
You may learn more about travel by train to Pittsburgh by visiting Pennsylvania Amtrak at this link. Alternatively, ground transit throughout by personal, rental and/or hired vehicle may be self arranged.
What day should I plan to arrive to Pittsburgh?

Where should I stay when in Pittsburgh?
Please plan to arrange for your own lodging in Pittsburgh by booking directly with Pittsburgh area hotels, AirBnB or VRBO. The Global Clean Energy Action Forum events will occur in downtown Pittsburgh. Some Pittsburgh area hotels have agreed to offer direct booking links while rooms remain available. What travel documents will I need when I register and/or to travel to Pittsburgh?
Documents required for travel to the USA will be dependent upon the country of origin and will be dependent upon the type of passport held. It is recommended that those who intend to register to attend Global Clean Energy Action Forum in person begin to conduct their own research regarding the documents that will be required of them for entry to the USA. If you would like to register to attend in-person, please check back to our Registration page in July 2022. Are COVID Protocols in place for attendance at Global Clean Energy Action Forum?
The Global Clean Energy Action Forum will follow the COVID-19 policies of our venues. The David L. Lawrence Convention Center and Heinz History Center both have released notices about safety and cleaning practices that their spaces and staff have taken to keep attendees safe and healthy. As of August 2022, the state of Pennsylvania does not currently have any social distancing or masking requirements. (can link to each venue’s covid-19 policies within)?
